Your stopover itinerary:

First day:
Arriving at the lovely town of Meerane, located right between Berlin and Munich (see website: www.meerane.de) and at our family owned first-class Romantic Hotel Schwanefeld (see homepage: www.schwanefeld.de), you will be met by one of our hotel representatives for a welcome reception at our cosy lobby bar, including some interesting information about our traditional hotel with an eventful history going back to the year of 1692. - A special dinner this evening will be served to you with wine at our inviting restaurant. Second day:
Following a tasty breakfast this morning your motor coach takes you by way of Dresden with an orientation drive into the Czech Republic to its capital and "Golden City" of Prague. Your sightseeing tour will start with the castle district of Hradcany rising up on a rock to see its Royal Castle and magnificent statues. You will admire the country´s largest and towering Cathedral of St. Vitus built during the 14th C, former residence of the Bohemian Lords and where some defenders of Catholic faith were just thrown out of a window that actually caused the beginning of the Thirty Years War. There will be time to walk the Old Town, not to be missed its famous astronomical clock and Karlova Street which leads you to the old Charles Bridge decorated with a number of splendid Baroque statues. Time left to shop or browse around before we motor back to Germany and to our hotel in Meerane. - Some later, dinner with wine tonight is a festive occasion featuring local music, entertainment and a surprise drawing of valuable gifts with everyone is winning. Third day:
After another full breakfast this morning it´s time to say "Auf Wiedersehen" to our hotel staff and to its quaint town Meerane surrounded by a beautiful landscape while your motor coach driver takes you further south to your next destination ... (B)
